The AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals validates a candidate’s foundational knowledge of cloud services and how Microsoft Azure provides these services to businesses across the world.
Apart from the cloud concerts and Azure services, the AZ-900 exam also expects candidates to showcase their understanding of Azure workloads, Azure security, and privacy, as well as pricing, support, and compliance.
The candidates preparing for Microsoft Azure Fundamentals should also be familiar with the general technology concepts, including concepts of compute, networking, storage, application support, and application development.
The AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals will also help to prepare for other Azure role-based or specialty certifications but it is not a prerequisite for any of them. Candidates who pass the AZ-900 exam will earn the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification.
